Mine action & EOD services

GEODE (Global EOD Experts) supports governments, mine action authorities, international organisations, NGOs and private companies across the full mine action and ammunition management cycle: survey, mine clearance, UXO clearance, physical security and stockpile management, destruction and demilitarization. Founded in Luxembourg in 2015 and part of the DEMINETEC Group since 2022, GEODE combines senior expertise with the operational resources of the group.

How we work

• Consultancy and expertise: assessments, audits, programme design and risk analysis in areas contaminated by explosive remnants of war.
• Training: bespoke modules delivered on site, from deminer to QA/QC and PSSM (see our training).
• Technical assistance: advisers embedded in national programmes and projects (see our activities).
• Field operations with the DEMINETEC Group (see our projects).

GEODE has been part of the DEMINETEC Group since 2022. GEODE draws on the operational capacity of the group: DEMINETEC (UXO survey and clearance, mine clearance), SEMTEC (underwater works and underwater UXO clearance), DEMINETEC-ECG (UXO site remediation in Belgium) and UXOMAP (geophysical survey and UXO mapping). The group's international references cover more than 30 countries on five continents (DEMINETEC Group international references).
